Ergonomic Assessment

Our Process

At Global Allied Health Services, we offer ergonomic assessments to help individuals identify and address potential ergonomic hazards in their work environment. Ergonomics is the study of the interaction between people and their work environment. An ergonomic assessment involves evaluating the individual’s workstation, posture, and work-related tasks to determine if any changes can be made to improve their comfort, safety, and productivity.

Ergonomic Assessments Process

During an ergonomic assessment, our trained healthcare professionals will conduct a thorough evaluation of the individual’s work environment, including their workstation setup, equipment, and tools. We will also observe the individual’s posture and movements while performing work-related tasks. Our team will provide recommendations for modifications to the work environment, such as adjusting the height of a chair or desk, modifying the layout of a workstation, or providing additional equipment to reduce strain and stress on the body.

Benefits of Ergonomic Assessments

Ergonomic assessments can be beneficial for individuals who spend extended periods of time working at a desk, using a computer, or performing repetitive tasks. Poor ergonomics can lead to a variety of musculoskeletal disorders, such as back pain, neck pain, and carpal tunnel syndrome. An ergonomic assessment can help prevent these types of injuries by identifying potential hazards and providing solutions to mitigate them.
